This Remington manufactured dark green, red and white cardboard box contains 48 of the original 50 rounds of 22 Short blank cartridges with copper cases and yellow / tan wads and is in very good condition with light wear, fading, and dirt staining. The box appears to be oil soaked. A semi-circle thumb cut is present on the left side of the top panel. The copper casings display the "U-3" headstamp.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1946 and was produced until circa 1962.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # REM-12 S-1(a) variation. The differences observed are that the box flaps are on the sides of the box and hinge to the bottom and this box uses copper casings. This box displays a semi-circle thumb cut on the left end.
